artists have the power to mobilize the masses and get the word out there through their music, art, dance or whichever is the case. but the power implement or put in motion the ideas passed by artist is still pretty much in the hands of the top dogs up there, the politicians. Artist have got the power of the word, politicians have the power of the policy.
That's a valid point bra. But one
might argue it's only so in theory. I
mean, the masses, they heavily
influenced by art and artist, and in some cases,
a subconsious level even. From fashion, to life-style, to even simple presention and so forth, art makes
us do things, and some of which are
not in line with the policies. For
example, take weed. Lol, I don't need
to go on about it you know where I'm going
with this. But the power of the
policies regardind it, or the
enforcement thereof just don't seem
to have that much of an effect. But let
dre, snoop, em and ice-cube say
there's a second session of the up in the
smoke tour.... Ganja smokers would
go nuts, dispite the policies put in
place against the use of it
